Gentle Watercolor Painting

for Senior Communities

$300/session for up to 20 participants

A calm, engaging, and beginner-friendly art activity for senior residents.

Looking for an enriching activity your residents genuinely enjoy—without adding extra work to your plate?

My in-person watercolor classes are designed specifically for senior living and retirement communities seeking a gentle, relaxing, and accessible creative experience. Each session offers residents a chance to slow down, connect, and create—at a comfortable pace that supports hand mobility and confidence.

What Residents Experience

Each 1-hour watercolor session is:

  • Step-by-step and clearly guided, with no prior experience required

  • Gentle on the hands, supporting hand dexterity and mobility

  • Relaxing and social, without pressure to “perform” or keep up

  • Focused on nature-inspired and simple abstract themes that feel soothing and achievable

Residents paint at their own pace. Feedback is always optional and offered respectfully to those who request it.

Senior community programming works best when an activity is:

  • Easy to implement

  • Inclusive of mixed ability levels

  • Calm rather than overstimulating

  • Enjoyable for residents and sustainable for staff

This class was built with those realities in mind.
