Cassie Arver – Watercolor Classes & Workshops

1. BUSINESS INFORMATION

These Terms & Conditions apply to all services provided by Cassie Arver, offering watercolor art classes, workshops, and educational experiences in California and online.

2. SERVICES OFFERED

Cassie Arver provides:
- In-person watercolor classes and workshops
- Online (Zoom-based) watercolor classes
- Single classes and class packages
- Classes for adults and select classes for minors
All services are educational and creative in nature and are not a substitute for medical, therapeutic, or rehabilitative treatment.

3. EDUCATIONAL DISCLAIMER. & PARTICIPANT RESPONSIBILITY

Participation in classes is voluntary.
Watercolor classes may involve fine motor movement, posture changes, and the use of art materials.
Participants (or parents/guardians of minors) are responsible for:
- Assessing their own physical and emotional readiness
- Using materials safely
- Consulting a healthcare professional if they have medical concerns
Cassie Arver does not provide medical advice, physical therapy, or rehabilitation services.

4. MINORS & PARENTAL CONSENT

For classes involving minors:
- A parent or legal guardian must provide consent for participation
- Parents/guardians are responsible for the minor’s supervision, materials, and environment during online classes
- Cassie Arver is not responsible for injuries, accidents, or technical issues occurring outside of her direct control

5. BOOKING & PAYMENT

- All classes must be booked in advance
- Payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise stated
- Prices are listed in U.S. dollars
- Class packages must be used within the timeframe specified at purchase (if applicable)

6. CANCELLATION, RESCHEDULING, & REFUND POLICY

Please read carefully before booking.

NO REFUND POLICY
All class purchases, including single classes and class packages, are non-refundable.
Refunds will not be issued for:
* Missed classes
* Late cancellations
* Failure to attend a scheduled class
* Personal scheduling conflicts or technical issues on the participant’s end

EXCEPTION - INSTRUCTOR CANCELLATION

If a class is canceled by Cassie Arver, participants will be offered either:
* A full refund, or
* The option to reschedule the class or receive a class credit toward a future session
This exception applies only when the cancellation is initiated by the instructor.

RESCHEDULING POLICY
- Participants may reschedule a class with at least 48 hours’ notice
- Rescheduling requests made less than 48 hours before a class will not be honored
- Missed classes without notice are forfeited

7. ONLINE CLASSES & TECHNOLOGY DISCLAIMER

For Zoom or online classes:
- Participants are responsible for having a stable internet connection and compatible device
- Cassie Arver is not responsible for technical issues on the participant’s end
- No refunds will be issued due to personal technical difficulties
- Classes may be recorded for educational or internal use.

8. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY & USE OF MATERIALS

All class content, including:
- Demonstrations
- Lesson plans
- Recordings
- Visual examples
- Teaching methods
are the intellectual property of Cassie Arver.
Participants may:
- Use their completed artwork for personal use only
Participants may NOT:
- Record, distribute, sell, or teach class content
- Share recordings, links, or materials without written permission

9. PHOTOGRAPHY & MEDIA CONSENT

By participating in classes, you grant permission for:
- Photographs, screenshots, or images of artwork to be used for promotional purposes
No names will be used without explicit permission.
Participants may request to opt out by contacting Cassie Arver in writing.

10. CODE OF CONDUCT

All participants are expected to:
- Be respectful to the instructor and other participants
- Maintain a supportive and inclusive environment
Cassie Arver reserves the right to remove any participant who disrupts a class or violates these expectations, without refund.

11. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- Cassie Arver shall not be liable for any injury, loss, or damages arising from participation in classes
- Participation is at the participant’s own risk

12. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of California.

13. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

Cassie Arver reserves the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updated terms will apply to future bookings.
